Compare PCV Fix Kits

  • V1 PCV Fix Kit

Summary: This is the original PCV fix kit. This kit connects underneath the manifold, using a brass check valve, and taps into a throttle body spacer for a vacuum source. Because this kit requires a throttle body spacer, it is more expensive if you don't already have one.

    V1 Kit Benefits:

    • Ability to inspect/clean the check valve without manifold removal.
    • Heavy duty brass check valve offers maximum durability. (Owners report 80,000-120,000 miles of use between cleanings)
  • V2.1 PCV Fix Kit

Summary: This kit was designed to save cost over the V1 kit by not requiring a throttle body spacer, and instead splices into the EVAP purge valve line for a vacuum source using an easy splice kit. It installs underneath the manifold similar to the V1 kit. The only drawback is that the check valve cannot be easily removed for inspection without pulling the intake manifold itself.

    V2.1 Kit Benefits:

    • Better value than the V1 kit
    • Heavy duty brass check valve offers maximum durability. (Owners report 80,000-120,000 miles of use between cleanings)
  • V3.4 PCV Fix Kit

Summary: The V3 kit was designed to maximize the value of the kit and simplify installation. By design, the V3 kit also replaces the corrugated section of hose from the intake manifold to the turbo, which is prone to cracking. It is installed from the top of the engine bay and does not require manifold removal. This is our most popular kit.

    V3.4 Kit Benefits:

    • Best value
    • Two fixes in one - replaces crack-prone corrugated section of hose with durable PCV hose by design
    • Comes with two quality Viton PCV valves (expected service life of 20,000-40,000 miles per valve)
    • Valve is serviceable from the top of the engine bay in 2 minutes using only pliers- Can be installed without manifold removal
  • Still not sure which kit to use?

The V1 and V2.1 kits are available for people who specifically want those older designs. They require additional work to remove and drill the intake manifold. If you're not specifically looking for either of those kits, the V3.4 kit would be the best option.
