V3.4+ PCV Fix Kit

This fix kit addresses the intake manifold check valve failure on the GM 1.4L Turbo LUV/LUJ and eliminates the need to replace your intake manifold. This kit has been improved and proven since 2019 and uses a number of custom designed fittings, check valves, and hardware.

Options
Add 2 Spare Check Valves - Adds 2 additional check valves to be used in case the check valve fails. Service life expectancy is 25,000-50,000 miles.
Add Cleaning Brush - Adds a custom designed steel bristle pipe brush with drill attachment for cleaning the PCV port on the intake manifold. You will also need a 1/8" flathead screwdriver (needed to install the plug, which is not included) to install the kit.
Pro Stainless Ball Valve - Replaces the V3 Nylon valves with a single premium high-flow, long-life, metal housed, serviceable ball valve. Aluminum housing, stainless steel ball.
Catch Can Adapter Kit: DOES NOT INCLUDE A CATCH CAN. This option includes additional hose and fittings to allow you to adapt the V3.4 PCV Fix Kit to a catch can.

Be prepared to work!

"The video makes it seem like this is a fix that will take about two hours. It took basically all the sunlight in the day to get this together and ready. One thing that the video didn’t mention was the need for a heat gun. You will want/need one before you start. Additionally, the guy in the video is an absolute beast when it comes to to removing the annoying plastic connectors; be prepared to spend some time on those. Finally, the metal hose clamps (which are nice) are a pain to get around the provided hoses (which once again the guy in the video makes it look super easy), but what I found works best is getting a pair of vice grips adjusted right and using those. Also, my kit did not come with a screwdriver, but I found one at home that worked. Once again finding the plug is not as easy as it was in the video, and make sure you use enough JB Weld to get a good seal (not mentioned in the video). Anyways, I’ll be firing up the car tomorrow and we will see how I did, but I’ll need to soak in the tub tonight after all this."

"kits so almost impossible to get together i use silicone grease and everything recommended and still had to ream out hoses to get literally anything to fit other than that i guess i’ll see if it runs fine when stuff settles"

Good kit, expect results.

"The kit is very straightforward especially with the video. I’m a mechanic so it is all pretty basic but I will say the hoses are extremely hard to get together. I used a heat gun and silicone grease to no avail. I didn’t get the hoses fully seated until I got to the last fitting that goes to the intake manifold. I noticed that the hoses start biting into the fitting and don’t let it move any further. There is a spot on the fitting where it looks like an o-ring should seat and it is the only opposing edge. I simply took a utility knife and took down that one edge and left the rest of the barbs the same. Doing that and using dawn dish soap made installation a lot easier. I use dish soap for o-rings and such at work to make sure nothing tears and installs go smoothly and I’ve had no problems yet. Just a light coat and pushing it on after taking off that edge helped so much. Other than that everything went well. I recommend getting the cleaning brush and screwdriver with the kit though. My screwdriver was a little too long and it gave me a hurdle but I figured it out. The cleaning brush was also very useful since I have a lot of build up in the manifold. Only thing I recommend it maybe some hoses that aren’t so stiff since this hose seems a little excessive for the application."

Works brilliantly

"Took me a bit to install it, but follow Andrei's instructions from all his videos and DO your research on the Cruze forums - it'll make you more knowledgeable about prolonging the lifespan of your 1.4T. It works brilliantly, the car runs smoothly and I can't thank Andrei enough for coming up with this fix for my Astra. Valve cover and gaskets are next to make it like new again. Package arrived intact and it's made out of robust parts - don't cheap out trying to make a kit of your own, it won't be near as good as this one"

Great product

"This review is about the CruzeKits V3.4+ GM 1.4L Turbo PCV Fix/Upgrade Kit. I installed the kit on my Opel Insignia 1.4 turbo (2013). Engine code A14NET. Before the installation, the engine was like electing a new pope. Between gears a cloud of smoke was emissed. I had also P0171 code previously but I resolved it changing one of the oem hoses. The installation was straightforward. The most difficult part is fitting the small plug inside the manifold. And now afterwards it should have been wise to but silicone lubricant on the parts and also heat the tubes. Please take a look at the separate video. The engine now runs smoother. The idle is smoother, throttle response is noticeably better, and the engine feels more responsive. The engine feels noticeably better to drive than it did before the installation. It took a couple of weeks to arrive to Finland, also 20-30 bucks for customs. But now it is installed."

"When you have a spectacular car with a 1-4 evotec turbo, youre buying the cheapist engineeing and production combined. The legend is long of those who have lost their mimd chasimg fuel system codes, this kit puts critical failure points within reach. Possibly even with material with the quality to go into an aitomobile! Long story short it comes with the complete packGe needed to get these cars back on the road. One thought would be why not shot the kit 90% assembled? Iys a bit of a jig saw this first time. That plug is tricky, but it will get there and does the job. Shop wanted $3k for the valv cover replacement with the new pcv diaphragm. All in all im into it for maybe $200. If it orks and holds, money well spent."

2018 Buick encore “b” LUV

"Bought for my father’s car. The diaphragm was still in tact and I think the check valve was still there. But I wanted to be safe and make sure he didn’t have any of the horrible issues others had with the original setup. I watched a lot of instal videos, ordered the 3.4 version and couldn’t be happier. It took me 2 hours to install but that was because I took it really slow, reached the videos, and made sure I wasn’t rushing. Immediately noticed the difference. It’s been 3 months and the car runs like new. It light on its feet, smooth, no codes and gave me the confidence to fix other things preemptively. I changed the coolants housing and thermostat housing with aluminum pieces, cleaned the throttle body, and changed the turbo oil feed line…… all of which everyone says are musts on these cars."
